Employee Sharing on Social Media

Category : Knowledge Share

We have been working on an updated PIC social strategy. One of the main focuses of this strategy is increasing engagement and interactions. Here are two ways you can help!

Sharing a post on any platforms PIC uses (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) is encouraged, but LinkedIn will be our main focus since it allows us to reach our B2B audience easiest.

  1. Click “Share” on the post. Ideally, it’s one in your area of focus.
  2. Add some information, expertise, or anything else that adds value to the post.
Be sure to @PIC if it makes sense to do so or include relevant hashtags. 1 or 2 hashtags should be added. Once you start typing in the first letter of a hashtag, LinkedIn shows you some of the most popular hashtags on the platform.
  3. Click “Post” to share your post.

In addition to sharing posts, we also encourage other engagement such as commenting on posts we publish and engaging with groups we join.

You do not have to comment on every post. If you see one that is relevant to your field and you have helpful info to include, a comment would be great! For example, we post about the top social trends of 2022. I could leave a comment about one that stood out to me or one that’s not mentioned in the list.

PIC will be joining some Facebook and LinkedIn groups soon. Once we are in there posting, we will also encourage you to join those with your personal profiles. Engaging isn’t required, but if you have some nugget of information that would be good to share, this is the perfect place to do it.

Ultimately, we are trying to a start a discussion and get other people talking!
