Image Extensions

Category : Knowledge Share

Rather than showing on a separate ad type like in Gallery Ads, the Image Extensions is an extension for Google which will be tagged onto your text ads.

They are eligible to show across both desktop and mobile. These can also be used from the account level down to an individual ad.

On Average, brands are seeing a 10 – 15%  CTR uplift from using Image Extensions.

How to use them:

    • They perform best when closely relevant to queries within the ad group or campaign.
    • Images should convey useful information to the searcher & match the experience they will find on your landing page.
    • Put your important content in the center 80% of the image.

Image Specs:

  • Square (1 x 1)
  • Landscape (1.9 x 1)
