Sequences for PRO and Enterprise Sales & Service Hubs

On March 3, 2020, Sequences were updated with the following new features:

  1. Enroll up to 50 contacts at one time. (great for post-trade show sequences)
  2. Increased Send Limits: 500 for PRO | 1,000 for Enterprise.
  3. By default, a sequence with a task within it will pause until the task is completed. (This can be turned off).
  4. Sender Scores by rep. to help identify spammy behavior. View best sequences vs. worst sequences. It also helps with sales coaching.

How to use new sequences:

Sender Scores: (Must have at least 100 ended sequence enrollments and an assigned Sales or Service Hub seat)

Facebooks Ads Dynamic UTM tagging & UTM Builder

Facebook ads allows you to use dynamic tagging to automatically tag variables.  This allows it to tag when an ad/traffic is from Instagram vs. Facebook vs. Audience Network.  It also has options to tag placements such as news feed, stories, or right-hand column ads audiences, and ad content if you want to.

Inside the Ads manager ad builder/editor you can click the UTM builder.  This opens options that allow you to enter the UTM variables that you want or choose one of the dynamic options.

When using this in conjunction with a plan for naming campaigns, ad sets, and ads, you can use one UTM for an all campaigns and get all the data you want in analytics.

SEM Rush Writing Assistant

  2. SEM Rush will give a score based on readability, SEO, tone of voice and originality.
  3. Each section will present a suggestion to improve your text 

Diagnosing Traffic / Tracking Issues in Google Analytics​

If you’re seeing anything odd in Google Analytics (e.g. low bounce rate, increased pageviews), you can almost always find the issue using Google Tag Assistant and/or GTM Preview Mode.​​

  1. Google Tag Assistant = Chrome extension that will analyze Google scripts on the page and alert you of any install issues or tags not firing properly.
  2. GTM Preview Mode = To see more detail on how tags are firing, open GTM and go right into preview mode. Then, pull up the site in a new tab and click on whichever tag is causing an issue. You can see the triggers that are causing the tag to fire which will help you diagnose anything that’s wrong.

Example = Remcom had a drop in Bounce Rate and Tag Assistant showed me the GA script was sending 2 pageview requests on each page load (explains the low bounce rate).​​

GTM Preview Mode allowed me to analyze the GA tag to see that 2 events were causing the tag to fire twice. I then switched the GA tag to only fire ‘once per page’ instead of ‘once per event’ and the issue was fixed.

Key Note = Use GTM Preview Mode on your live environment to test tracking issues. Preview Mode is not limited to environments with unpublished changes.

HubSpot WorkFlows – Go To Other Action

  • Works with company, deal, quote and ticket-based workflows
    • DOES NOT WORK WITH CONTACT-based workflows.
  • Apply Go to other action to connect similar functions from If/then branches.

In this example:

  • If the trial doesn’t end in 10 days, the contact goes down the “NO” branch.
  • After 15 days, rather than creating a similar task to call the associated contacts:
    • Click the plus icon +
    • Select Go to other action
    • Select the action within the workflow to connect to – must be within an if/then branch
