Standard PIC Master Deck for PowerPoint

Category : Knowledge Share

Today, we are sharing a PowerPoint template that the Design Team has been working on in conjunction with the Marketing Team. The idea is to create a single document that all departments can use across the company to maintain consistency in presentation styles.

As we continue to decide on best practices to include the needs of all departments, the PowerPoint template master slides will remain in the Design Team’s control.

Let’s dive in to the presentation theme and layout itself!

The concept with each slide is to give the presenter placeholders they can edit such as the “Custom Title” text or the “Featured Image” space. Making these edits does not change the presentation style at all.

Different departments have different presentation needs. There are multiple options for cover slides and subsequent slides to meet each department’s requirements without deviation from the overall PowerPoint theme.

The Sales Team, for example, may need comparison charts to demonstrate interests to a client. Such a presentation can include a slide like this one:

Notice that the PowerPoint slide has appropriate colors and standardized fonts to adhere to the PIC brand, including our primary and secondary palette as well as the Lato font.

Here is an example of another slide format that one can insert into a PowerPoint presentation from our PIC branded template:

Notice with this slide, the formatting includes an area for highlights. The presenter can easily add a chart, picture, or other visual element to help portray their message to the client or internal audience.

All editable slides have guiding lines that are standardized for that individual slide’s formatting. This element keeps items within the slide along visual lines, enforcing a clean, uniform look throughout the PowerPoint presentation.

When opening PowerPoint to create a new presentation, always refer to the Design Tab and confirm PIC branded themes are in use.

To insert desired slides, the presentation creator can select them from our slide groupings within PowerPoint. These groupings can be found on the Home Tab under the Layout Dropdown.

This section includes cover pages and core slides to easily navigate all the options the PIC PowerPoint theme has to offer.

No matter the PowerPoint’s purpose, using these template themes and designs preserves the PIC brand style integrity for internal and client-facing presentations!
