Twitter Hashtag Generator

Category : Knowledge Share

This hashtag generator scans Twitter’s database to find the most appropriate hashtags for you and your post through filters. The filters primarily include popularity of the hashtag, volume of hashtag use at the current time, and relevancy of the hashtag to your post’s topic.

In the hashtag generator, type in the keyword you want to find a hashtag for. Select each hashtag you would like to use. Your selections will turn green. All of the hashtags selected will compile on the side so you can copy and paste into your post.

Though this hashtag generator is primarily functioning through Twitter’s hashtag tracking, you can copy and paste the compiled list of hashtags into an Instagram post or other social media platforms where hashtags would be useful!

HubSpot Pop-up & Slide-in Forms

Category : Hubspot

Office Furniture Warehouse had two separate offers they wanted placed on the site. One offer was for an Office Redesign around Covid and the other was a Home Office Design.

HubSpot has “Pop-up Forms” that allow us to showcase these offers in a few different ways without overwhelming users on the site. These are provided with limits to appear to users once per day.
Covid Office Redesign – Pop-up form that appears upon reaching a 50% page scroll.
Home Office Design – Slide-in form that shows in the bottom right corner of the browser window. This only appears on Product Category and Product pages after 7 seconds of viewing.

For Office Furniture Warehouse, these “forms” really function as CTAs since they point to Landing Pages. This is because HubSpot doesn’t allow pop-up forms to send users to TY pages after submitting.
If you’re not using HubSpot Landing Pages, you need to set up additional targeting restrictions to keep the pop-ups from showing to users repeatedly in one visit.

How the Pandemic May Affect Holiday Shopping

Category : General

Those who win this holiday season are the companies that respond most quickly to the pandemic’s effects. It’s vital for retailers to be discoverable online.

The growing customer preference for shopping locally will likely continue into the holidays and beyond. Local ads appear on Google Maps, Search Network, YouTube, and Display Network.

In-store shopping may look different this year as alternatives like curbside pickup and contact-less buying become the norm. Google responded by adding the ability to note which inventory is available for curbside pickup right in the company ads. Consumers who decide on in-store shopping will likely opt to shop during low-traffic times so we may see more in-person holiday shopping activity before the usual Black Friday rush.

Be relevant. Know your desired outcome and write clear content towards that goal. Use list segmentation to target your audience. Customize content and CTAs for the audience you are trying to reach.
When constructing the email, display a recognizable sender name. Keep the subject line to 50 characters or less. Customize your preheader to control the first text that appears in your email.
Include interactive content. Interactive email design is a powerful way to boost engagement.
Follow through with simple and clear next steps for your CTA. Use a relevant landing page whether that is a product page, a form download, or a blog post with a clear CTA of its own.
